It is great to be a part of the Michigan Air Rally team.  Best of luck to all the
pilots and crew participating in this wonderful challenge, but remember
safety is first and fun is expected.  Aviation has been a part of my life since
1968 when dad bought his first plane, a Cherokee 140.  Since that day
flying has been a priority in my life and I have expanded the passion each
year.  My home base is Grandville, MI and I fly out of 08C Jenison Riverview.
I have the privilege of owning and flying my dad's last plane that he owned,
a Cessna Skymaster.  My wife Tammy enjoys flying with a purpose and my
two boys Tom, 23, is finishing his Theater Arts masters program and Pat,
21, is traveling the world with a camera producing documentary films.
Flying hasn't captured their hearts yet and that's ok for now.  I am self
employed as a consultant and commercial pilot.

Amy has been involved in a
number of successful
fundraisers and events
through Women’s Division
Chamber of Commerce in
Muskegon, MI.  She also
works full time as the Human
Resources Coordinator for
the County of Muskegon.  Amy
enjoys spending time with
her family & friends, attending
various community events
and traveling (flying whenever
& wherever she can!).
Randy has been involved
with the WMFA since it's
inception. He received his
Private Pilots License in
Jan 1970 and has been a
CFI since 1999. In
addition to flying, he
spends time with his
family  waiting to teach
flying to one of his
Founder of the West Michigan Flight Academy and former Dance Artist
with a long and prestigious career. Seeing the need for quality Math and
Science programming for students in the inner-city public schools of
West Michigan, Patrick searched for answers and realized that he only
needed to search within himself and WMFA came to be. With a
commercial pilot rating and 15 years of flight experience he saw that he
could make a difference in the lives of  youth using aviation as the tool to
get them excited about Math and Science.

With his experience of 28 years in the performing arts and working with
youth in many communities across the United States Patrick has
amassed a vast knowledge and network of individuals he can call upon
to provide special expertise.

Ken Stone is a corporate pilot and flight instructor.  Ken
started his aviation journey at age 14 when he began
training to fly gilders.  He continued his education and
earned his ratings as soon as his age would allow.  After
7 years as a regional airline captain he decided that a
change of pace was in order.  Ken accepted a position
as a PC-12 pilot for a local West Michigan company.  Ken
also owns a flight simulator company, Fly The Box, LLC,
that offers affordable flight simulation time to local pilots
and flight instructors.  Hours in the flight simulator are
donated to WMFA for the students participating in their
school outreach program.  Ken lives in West Michigan
with his wife Amy and his 3 future pilots Sean (10),
Samuel (9), and Ellie (6).
Thomas W. Crawford is a Project Manager & Estimator for Restorations, Inc., a

coverages and loss settlement.  He gained a CAPS certification designation, with his
awareness, knowledge and work with the physically challenged and elderly.  Tom has
been active in the West Michigan community all of his life.  He was chaired several
projects for and served on the Board of Directors of the Grand Rapids Jaycees for
several years.  Tom runs an annual golf outing, The Black Cat, which brings friends
from youth together and raises funds for very worthy local causes. This past summer
marked the 30th anniversary for the outing.
